Fitness Training Step 1 – Consultation
To get started, simply contact us to arrange a time for your FREE one-to-one Fitness Consultation.
We will ask some questions about your health, fitness goals, lifestyle, nutrition habits, and other relevant issues. We will use this information to decide the best pathway forward for you, giving you the most effective and most efficient programme to help you achieve your goals.
Fitness Training Step 2 – Assessment
Step 2 actually consists of three smaller parts. We know some people may feel uneasy or anxious about an assessment, so we only ever perform each part with your full consent.
No part of the assessment is mandatory. However, the more information we get, the better we can plan for your needs.
First, we will ask if we can measure your weight on our state-of-the-art scales. This will tell us more than just your actual weight. It will also give a breakdown of your body composition such as body fat percentage, lean muscle tissue mass, and more. All this information will be highly valuable as we draw up your fitness programme.
Next, we ask if we can take your body measurements. This is important because for many of our clients, results may not be immediately apparent on the scales, but they can instead show up in inches.
Finally, we ask you to undertake a functional assessment. We ask you to complete some movements and basic exercises. This will help us to spot any muscle imbalances or incorrect movement patterns which could lead to injury if not addressed.
When we have all this information, we draw up the most effective exercise and nutrition plan for you, to optimise your results.
Fitness Training Step 3 – Commitment!
Finally, you commit to the plan we have devised, and we agree a time and day to start work. Throughout the process we will be on hand to help coach and support you through every step of the way.
