Who is 360 Fitness training for?
Everybody! At 360 Fitness, we welcome people of all age, ability, and gender. Our clients come from all walks of life. Some are experienced athletes, many are gym novices, while others are returning to exercise after a period of inactivity. Our clients also vary in terms of their goals. Examples include building strength, improving functional fitness after illness or injury, or aiming to losing weight.
What does it involve?
All out training sessions involve a mix of resistance training (weight training) and high intensity training. The benefits of this type of training have been known for years.
Will I get bulky?
No. Unless you are deliberately eating a diet and taking supplements designed to greatly increase your muscle mass, you will not get bulky. Many women fear that strength and conditioning training will make them bulky, but that fear is entirely unfounded.
How long will it take to see results?
Typically, people feel and see results within a short space of time. Weight loss results are dependent on how well the nutrition plan is followed. When adhering fully to the plan, most people begin to see weight loss within the first week or two.
Increases in physical strength and stamina also usually become apparent within a couple of weeks. Naturally, results are entirely based on the individual’s body type, any specific health issues they may have, and the degree to which they engage with the programme. Patience and persistence are the keys to achieving success.
Is everyone at the same level?
No, everyone is at their own level and trains at their own pace. Our training sessions are structured such that novices can take our training sessions alongside our seasoned gym-goers and each will be encouraged to work to their own ability.
Will I need to supplement it at home?
You won’t need to, but there is nothing stopping you from practicing some of the exercises!
Is everything provided?
Yes. All you need to bring is a drink and a towel.
What’s the emphasis? %strength/ cardio?
At 360 fitness, we don’t put any specific percentage of focus on either strength training or cardio. We focus on Global Metabolic Conditioning, basically working the metabolism as a whole. Why? Well, there is no such thing specifically as cardio training in the sense that doing certain exercises or activities like running or cycling makes your heart healthier and/or perform better.
A healthier heart comes down to how efficient your metabolism is which requires an overall conditioning process best achieved through a mixture of resistance training and high intensity training.
What if I have an old injury/illness/invisible issue?
All our training sessions are tailored to each individual. As such, injuries or weaknesses are not an obstacle to participating in our training sessions. Should an exercise not be suitable for you, it will simply be modified or you will be given an alternative exercise. These modifications happen in every training session. All you need to do is to tell us what the issue is and we will work around it.
How are we different? Why choose us?
We are different in that we value body and mind equally. We don’t just push you physically. We also look after your psychological and emotional well-being as we do so.
Exercise is more enjoyable and more effective if carried out in the right frame of mind. That is why we place such emphasis on this at 360 Fitness.
This approach happens discreetly at training sessions, but it permeates everything we do at 360 Fitness and underpins the success we have had in helping hundreds of people reach their health and fitness goals.
